Welcome to Show 35 of Glenn's Lost Classics. My show has evolved into a rock and roll birthdays show. The main thing about my show is it is the songs that I love, and also songs that may not have been overplayed on the radio. This month we have quite a few awesome rock and roll birthdays. We are going to hear songs from James Brown, Steve Winwood, Ian McLagan, Dave Mason, John Fogerty, Bill Bruford, Lou Gramm, Stevie Nicks, Joey Ramone, Mick Ronson, Pete Townsend, Bono, Alex Van Halen, Dusty Hill, Bob Dylan, John Bonham, The Black Crowes and more. Four of the members of the Black Crowes have birthdays in May, Guitarist Rich Robinson, Keyboardist Eddie Harsch, bass player Johnny Colt and Sven Pipien who replaced Johnny on bass. After leaving The Black Crowes Johnny Colt formed Brand New Immortals, and also played with the band Train for about 3 years, and also replaced Jason Newsted in the band Rock Star Supernova in addition to playing in Lynyrd Skynyrd for about 5 years. I have recently become friends with Johnny Colt @johnnycolt on Instagram, and he has been auctioning off what I think is artwork that he creates and gives the proceeds to @feedingamerica . Once again this will be a great show. The show will get started with something to get you moving by James Brown!
