Welcome to show #28 of Glenn's Lost Classics. This show is going to be a combination Jackson Browne show to honor his birthday on Oct 9th and Tom Petty for his birthday on Oct 20th. There will also be two sets to honor other artists with birthdays in October. We will be hearing Steve Miller, Sweet, John Mellencamp, The Doobie Brothers, REO, Sam and Dave, The Grateful Dead, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Montrose, and Van Halen. I am going to start and end the show with a set of Jackson Browne, there will be two sets of other October birthday artists, and one set of Tom Petty. I wanted to see Jackson Browne at the Orange County Fair last summer but his show was sold out. I was able to see his show in Bakersfield about a week later.
