Welcome to show #23 of Glenn's Lost Classics. This show will be a Paul McCartney/Beatles show in honor of Paul's birthday on June 18. There are also a lot of other birthdays this month, and I was able to include 10 of them. You will be hearing, Ron Wood with the Rolling Stones, Charlie Watts with the Rolling Stones, Ian Hunter with Mott the Hoople, Billy Powell with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Frank Beard with ZZ Top, Ann Wilson and Howard Lees from Heart, Ray Davies with The Kinks, Mick Fleetwood with Fleetwood Mac, and Mick Jones with The Clash.
There were also a lot of other birthdays I would have liked to include like Alanis Morissette, on June 1st, Suzi Quatro on the 3rd, Freddie Stone from Sly & The Family Stone on the 5th, Chuck Negron from Three Dog Night on the 8th and Boz Skaggs also on the 8th, Bun E Carlos from Cheap Trick on the 12th, Alan White from Yes on the 14th and Rod Argent from the Zombies also on the 14th, and from the Beach Boys Bruce Johnstone on the 27th and Brian Wilson on the 20th, Michael Anthony from Van Halen and most recently Chickenfoot on the 20th, The 21st has three birthdays Joey Molland from Badfinger, Joey Kramer from Aerosmith, and Mark Brzezicki from Big Country which was a one hit wonder band from the early eighties with a song called "In a Big Country" which I would have liked to included. And to wrap up the birthdays, there is Todd Rundgren from Utopia on the 22nd, and from Procol Harems David Knights and Bobby Harrison both have birthdays on the 28th and from Deep Purple, Jon Lord on the 9th and Ian pace on the 29th. I also wanted to mention that Paul McCartney is currently on tour and you can get tickets for upcoming tour dates at www.paulmccartney.com for his Freshen Up Tour. He will be playing Petco Park in San Diego on June 22, 2019, and then he has couple dates in Las Vegas, and he will be playing Dodgers Stadium on July 13, 2019.
