Welcome to Show 21 of Glenn's Lost Classics. This show is going to be a Tribute to Peter Frampton first with Humble Pie and then solo to celebrate his birthday on April 24th. I am also going to celebrate many other artists that have birthdays in April. Peter will be starting his farewell tour in June in Oklahoma, and he will be playing all over the US and ending the Tour in California in October. Peter confirmed his farewell tour on CBS because of a progressive muscle disorder called Inclusion Body Myositis that is characterized by muscle inflammation, weakness, and atrophy. The reason he is calling it the farewell tour is because he is at the top of his game now, and he knows he can make it through this tour without people saying "Oh you know, he can't play as good as he used to". I my opinion, he's amazing, but he doesn't know for how long he's going to be at this level. So if you haven't seen Peter Frampton this is your chance. I am hoping to get a chance to see him when he comes to California with the opening band Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Evening.
